What is an online solution for organizing tasks within a company?

The company has about 30 employees. All of them are separated by their departments. 5 departments in 7 offices on 4 floors. Although each department does its own work, it is quite common to interact between departments. It is important for the authorities to see this "interaction". Therefore, the idea came to me to "automate" all this. That is, you need some kind of online solution where employees can give each other (of course, according to the hierarchy) tasks. The authorities will see what tasks are currently being performed and which ones have been completed, as well as who was the executor. Having a messenger client for this solution would be a huge plus.
