What is an adequate percentage of sales that can be given to the salesperson/intermediary?
The bottom line: there are (SaaS) solutions developed by me that can automate certain business processes.
I can't sell them. But there are stakeholders who know how to sell and do it well.
But they ask for 50% of each sale. Isn't there a lot to give away so much from each sale? Surely there are "market surebets from and to"?
I have no experience in sales and do not really understand this, I ask for help with advice.

The price is a game of how much each side is willing to give and what benefits from it. If I cannot find a client, then I will receive 100% of zero rubles - that is, zero rubles. If I agree to give 99% of 100 rubles, then I will receive 1 ruble of income. 1 is greater than 0. But am I ready to spend N time of my life to implement the idea and get 1 ruble? Don't know. It's up to you.
Commission from boxed sale up to 70%.
From the sale of the service by subscription 6-12 monthly payments.
This is not a complete list of schemes, but only as an example of the most common.
If you do not transfer any rights to your software, then the essence is simple - either you sit with an awesome SaaS solution and admire how cool it is without getting a penny, or you also sit with an awesome SaaS solution, admire how cool it is and give it away 50% commission to the guys who sell it for you while getting the remaining 50% in your pocket.
And I think there are no market forks, each case must be considered individually.
There are no market rules.
There is your individual condition, due to your specific business. It's all calculated and included in the price.
Perhaps, in the area where your salespeople came from, it is customary to give 50%....
In the case of SaaS, I would pay attention to contract extension. Are salespeople responsible for this?
I would pay attention to the minimum plan that they undertake to fulfill, etc.
But not at all to a "big" percentage.
PS:
Is 50% a lot?
Tell this to manufacturers of any household appliances, any household items, etc.
Retail, which is able to sell their goods, simply takes 50% for this.
PS:
I once had such a salesperson.
I told him - I want so much then, everything from above is yours. At least 1000% cheat, if you can. It is not interesting for me.
He could not. Then he began to explain to me that the reason for this was not his greed and inability to work, but the initially inflated price.
But the price is too high to pay him - so that's his problem.
PS:
50% is fine if he can really provide you with sales.
to make it interesting for you, you can also calculate and enter a link to the number of sales:
1-10 per month = 20%
11-20 = 30%
21-30 = 40%
31 and more we reach the desired 50%
The downside is that this will have to be administered, the plus is that you are ready to go 50% but with good sales
If you subscribe there are offers up to 100 percent. one-time or 25 per cent. for the entire duration of the grant.
If a one-time sale of 50 percent. normal price. You also get the service and personal sales of the referred customers. The pros value themselves. Little money = bad results. As an everywhere.
50% for sales only = debatable
try to at least go out with your site or participate in affiliate programs
If you have SaaS, then most likely you should have a subscription to the service, such as a monthly payment. Give 50% of the first month of payment. I have a partner who gives me 100% of the first month's payment for a referred client.
> I do not know how to sell them.
Are you sure that someone needs your SaaS solution? Because the ability to sell comes down to only
1) the ability to hear what the client really needs and
2) demonstrate how exactly your product solves his (the client's) problem.
What part are you having a problem with?
We are very looking for such "But there are interested persons who know how to sell and do it well."
50% does not scare us. Do not tell me how your experience ended? Is it possible to somehow get the contact of "interested persons who know how to sell well for%" )
