What is a simple computer without network cards useful for?

I already asked about a computer whose motherboard does not see the network card.

Screw safely moved to another computer and continues to work, but what to do with the old one - I'll never know. :(
Throwing out the hand does not rise, but without a network (usb does not work either) in the modern world, nowhere :)

I just had an idea: put a Dandy emulator on it, hang a joystick on com or ltp and use it as an entertainment center.

What else can be done? What will be the thoughts, Habrauser?

entertainment center with dandy emulator? - well, if the ratio of the place it occupies to the pleasure it gives you will suit you =)
but in general, if PCI doesn’t work, then it’s easier to throw out the mother without a network and usb.

The network can be made through LPT. A very ancient laptop was given the Internet under FreeBSD.

Try to roll Debian and install a normal file cleaner. Or something else.

If the sound system works, you can solder a simple set-top box and there will be an oscilloscope!
