What is a simple and informative Linux Benchmark?
Is there a simple and informative Linux Benchmark.
I do not need great accuracy of readings, but there is a desire to know the performance of different hardware.
Some of the servers that are planned to be tested do not have direct access to the Internet, which imposes a restriction on the packages to be installed: there should not be very many of them, and they should be installed all at once, and not delivered during the benchmark.
Interested in performance: CPU, RAM, HDD, GPU (may be absent).
I tried UnixBench, but (if I'm not confused) it installs a lot of packages and it's not very easy to start.

I usually use the script from serverbear.com (there are several tests + unixbench), but it is a bit for other tasks - to compare the quality of tariffs and hosting providers. Well, it requires the Internet.
And yes, I would also not refuse to learn about some simple and universal benchmark, but for now I get by with a hodgepodge of dd, ioping, sysbench, unixbench and others, if necessary. Sometimes you have to use monsters like phoronix.
