What is a lightweight and pretty inventory system?

Tried several solutions like OCS-Inventory, GLPI, Fusion inventory and Spiceworks.
All these bulky and inconvenient systems are not for people.
Perhaps someone came across a lightweight and nice system with simple features:
Customizable options for saving information about equipment. (For example, I don't want to know about all the pci devices or the memory bus at all. The CPU / RAM / HDD / Video / Monitor is enough for me).
Ability to generate custom reports. (For example, a pdf document about signing the acceptance of a computer under his mat. answer by a person).
Well, or if someone has already written his bike in scripts, awk and so on - please share?

OS, if not specified, does not matter?
Look at this:
https://code.google.com/p/bko/
http://bko.shatki.info/index.php/3/category/1.html
http://bko.shatki.info/ index.php/3/category/3-bko17.html
All fields of objects are optional, there are custom reports (just in the form of sql queries), templates for a couple of acts are already included.
Open source? Yes, GNU GPL v2.
The only thing that is "not lightweight" in my opinion is that it requires .Net .
Indirectly, at the mention of awk, I dare to assume that you have a non-win platform. I have not tried it myself, but on the forum and in the fake they write that the previous version 1.6 starts under wine.
