What is a graphical shell for Ubuntu with a good design)?
I want to switch to Ununtu. I love good design. What is a well-designed Ubuntu desktop (preferably Mac OS)?. I myself still do not know how to change everything qualitatively.

Ubuntu comes in 3 versions (desktop):
- Unity (ubuntu)
- Xfce (xubuntu)
- KDE (kubuntu)
Try each and decide what you like.
You can set up another environment (DE + WM), but for a person unfamiliar with linux, this is a wild pain and humiliation.
Unity, Gnome, KDE, XFCE - choose any shell. Personally, I use XFCE ( Xubuntu ).
You can also take Linux Mint - everything is already set up there.
Ubuntu with good design
Try pure ubuntu with Unity, although it doesn’t look much like a real Mac OS (and it’s unlikely to be compared with it), as an option, you can put an additional Cairo-Dock, but I wasn’t lucky with it, it bugged me
Why guess? We install VirtualBox, download images of different Ubutnu variations with different shells, run it in a virtual machine and see if it’s beautiful or ugly. Personally, at one time I settled on LXDE (Lubuntu) - in the original it is scary, but the authors of Lubuntu have prettyly combed it; looks very, very neat.
Look there is an overview of graphical interfaces, everything is available painted.
The concept of "good design" is very different for everyone. I liked KDE before the release of 4.x, after that I literally raped myself many times, trying to get used to it, but I couldn’t and I’m sitting on Trinity Desktop...
In my opinion, the obvious answer here is linix mint - oddly enough, I was skeptical about this fork, but listened when it bypassed ubuntu itself according to statistics.
I sat down and didn't move anywhere.
