What is a good class for dealing with IMAP?

There is a task to watch mail and when new letters appear, certain ones - to forward them. There are about 19 thousand letters in the mail folder, so you need to receive only those that have arrived for the current day.
I used to use ddeboer / imap, but when I had to use the functions of selecting messages by filters, I ran into various difficulties, the examples are not working, the docks are scarce, you can dig looking for the cause for a long time and it is not known with what result.
It would be quite good if the class could send mail correctly and put the letter in the "sent" folder. the latter has something to do, but it would be much better if this one tool could do it.

This is called "subscribing to PUSH notifications".
So a demon. PHP is not well suited for these purposes. Better write in Node.JS
IMAP something to do with it? It's already SMTP.
