What is a free alternative to Adobe Photoshop for a layout designer?

Hello!

Started making up. I am looking for an alternative to Photoshop to work with ready-made layouts.

The main criteria are as follows:
1. The product is free (no money, nothing to pay))
2. Suitable for Linux. The same Photoshop goes only to Windows and poppy. You can, of course, put it through Wine, but there is so much unnecessary trouble ...
3. Suitable for layout. I'm definitely not going to design. The main thing is that you can open psd templates correctly and get all the information you need for layout (sizes, indents, transparency, pictures, etc.) from them. GIMP is not suitable, if only because it cannot read text layers from .psd (do not make fonts at random?)

In general, something like this. Is there something like this on the Internet or do I have wild requests?))
Thanks in advance!

Hello.
1. Figma
2. Avocode
Both programs exist both for stationary installation on the OS and as part of the cloud.

You will still probably have layouts in PSD, there is little, except for Photoshop and its online options, that can adequately work with such.
I highly recommend this editor . For layout, he suited me just fine
