What is 1C and where to master it?

Hello.
Often I see in vacancies the requirement "knowledge of 1C".
What do they mean? 1s is a cloud of all sorts. Exactly 1s: the enterprise is most likely. or 1s: trade.

Tell me where there are good courses (preferably free) to master these programs from scratch?

If in such an abstract formulation, then it is like knowing Word and Excel.
Most likely, it is required that when you immediately get to a new workplace, do not be afraid of the program, but immediately run through the menus, be able to create new directories, understand the phrase "document posting", know where to look at postings, generate reports, be able to use selections and sorting - all in this spirit...
