What ip is needed for domain service?
I have an old computer at home, put win serv 2012 there. I want to set up a domain service, ftp, file storage. I so understood that the statistical IP address is necessary. Or dynamic too will go?
Ps on a VDS with a statistic ip raised FTP without any problems using windows server services.

You can write statics by hand. You can fix the lease by poppy address on a third-party dhcp server on the network (if any).
It’s clear with statics, I set it up without any problems, but dynamic .... I’m also interested in the question: do the company’s branches in different cities unite. Or domain services only within the physical LAN? If not, then what does the main center check the work on the server with configured RDP?
