What interface do stage LED screens use?

The transmitting card for LED screen transmits the image received via hdmi/dvi/VGA, via gigabit lan Cat5 to the receiving card.
instead of a transmitting card, a laptop with the necessary software and firewood can work through a gigabit network card.
I have not been able to find information on what interface and protocol this is done.
I would be grateful for any information in this area.
