What interesting things can be said in programming courses?
Good day to all, the following question is on the agenda. A programming circle is being started at our institute, the Delphi environment is taken as the basis, as the most visual one to start learning. The idea to talk about something that would stir up interest in this wonderful field of activity. While there is a plan to tell the basics and try with this knowledge to let people write the simplest game, some kind of arcade or something similar.
The question is, do you know anything interesting that could be told within the framework of this circle to those who are taking their first steps in programming? Thanks in advance to everyone who responds!

No need for Delphi. Let him die in peace. Do not injure the psyche of students.
Now there are a great many programming languages. If you need something similar to Delphi and immerse it immediately with your head, then take at least C #. Although I'm not a fan of it, Visual Studio is very similar to Delphi's IDE in terms of features, and not harder to learn.
