Perhaps something is used by some photo centers, but rather it is something self-made and implementing their specific tasks. Most of the time, nothing special is used. Use "My Documents" and "My Pictures" for warehousing. For Photoshop processing, sometimes Corel/AI/InDesigh.... depending on what tasks are being solved. As a last resort, if it is a network, also some kind of Dropbox, for exchanging materials....
