What information is best placed in the footer of the page?

Hello!
There is a blog site in which the main page consists of a list of recent posts (2/3 of the page width), a sidebar with widgets (1/3 of the width) and there is also a footer that can be used for widgets. Moreover, footer widgets can be placed in 1, 2, 3 or 4 columns.
Advise what information is more expedient to place in the footer? So far I have only a modest inscription on copyright protection there. Can you recommend a good article where to read about it. I am now so bogged down in the technical part that the brain refuses to imagine itself in the place of an ordinary user.
