Recently, on a voluntary basis, I was asked to adapt a CMS on the Yii 1.x framework. Everything would be fine, but there the kraken's claw will break in this old code. I decided to try it, but I realized that I "do not rummage" in the logic of the author of this engine.
Rewriting is not an option, because the volume is sufficient and there are no necessary skills to write from scratch. What should I do? Please help me get rid of this bug as soon as possible. What can you think of?
The initial point is to simply adapt the template, but some functions from the template are not in this engine and because of this everything is not going well.
