Database in SQL
Database size 2.5GB
Connection will be via RDP
All connections via LAN
The number of users is 6, but a reserve for 4-5 people is needed in the future.

So what kind of iron to take for these needs?

If the BP configuration is 3.0, then RDP is not needed, it is better to publish the database on a web server and connect with a thin or web client via http/https.
For 6 users without problems and in file mode will work.
