There was a question about choosing a server for the call center, the authorities chose Bitrix24 boxed, and now I don’t know what server is required for Bitrix24, because. I heard from colleagues that Bitrix24 itself is quite demanding.

Tell me, please, what kind of hardware is suitable for a server with a load of approximately 800 people / at the same time? (in CRM)

You will pay a lot of money for a box, for sure their technical support or sales department will be happy to give you specific numbers. Why don't you ask them?
Their integration experience is definitely greater than that of anyone present here, and most importantly, they will bear guarantees for their words.

On Intel Xeon E3-1230 3.4 GHz, 32 GB DDR4, 2 × 240 GB SSD + 2 × 2 TB SATA , 3 virtual machines with Bitrix 24 are running in Proxmox, a total of more than 10 portals and on the 4th ISPmanager with three Magento stores.
For 800 people online, you may not have enough of such a server.
ps in the place of the authorities, I would apply to a company that has experience in introducing more than 300 employees into an organization.

Bitrix24 is not a CRM! This software product is called - Bitrix24 Corporate Portal, and CRM in its composition is only a module. The fact that it is cheaper or, as it were, free of charge does not mean that it is better!
Usually they choose a bunch of telephony + CRM, because. it is more practical and easier to maintain.
