What happens if you make an ya.ru alias to your domain?

The bottom line is that there is an insane amount of domains on the web and it will only grow over time. At the same time, as far as I understand, no one limits you in creating any alias, even if such a domain already exists somewhere. How will such a name be resolved? And will it be possible to do such a maneuver at all?

you can't register a domain if it already belongs to someone,
you won't be able to make an alias from the ya.ru domain to your own, because you do not have access to the registrar's dns server
alias - this is the same domain name as any other, it just refers to another domain or ip address.
