What happens if you install Windows 10 on a stationary device, and then insert a hard drive with Windows already installed into a completely different laptop?
Will it turn on at all? Or it will give out that NO BOOTABLE DEVICE, and whether everything will work fine. (I mean a clean simple installation without any drivers)

It will turn on, it will work normally if you connect it to the Internet and let it update the drivers, if there are drivers, of course
Use WinToUSB .
Result: portable installation of Windows 7/8/8.1/10 on a USB device.

The second works kosyachno, but the first is quite efficient.
