What happens if they stop mining bitcoin?

Now, every four years, miners receive less and less bitcoins, and only an increase in its price keeps large companies that are engaged in mining afloat, it has already become unprofitable to mine bitcoin at home. In a year, miners will again earn half as much, which means that in order to . again, they need to keep afloat the rise in the price of bitcoin. The price should skyrocket. And if we take another 5 years, then the price of bitcoin should soar to the moon, otherwise it will not be profitable.
The question is, what will happen if it ceases to be profitable for miners and everyone stops their mining centers? As far as I understand, the whole system will stop, because there will be no one to process payments.

In addition to the block reward, there are also fees for transactions included.
The miner himself chooses the transactions he wants to include. Therefore, they will include transactions with the highest commission in the block (now they actually do this).
Do you want your payment to be confirmed in 10 minutes? Pay a commission.
Otherwise, wait forever.

Mining has not been profitable for a long time, you haven't discovered America, TS. But I do not think that there will ever be a complete stop in the process of mining the crypt. For those who have been mining at home - yes, this is the end. Although I was still mining until recently, only a month ago I sold the farm and withdrew the latter from the wallet through the exchanger https://1-online.ru/ . Yes, and I advise you to finish with mining. Better trading.
