What happens if I don't leave a link to the author? Sooner or later, SEO will give me the task of blocking links to other sites from indexing

Theoretically, if the presence of a link is stated in the requirements / license, then the author may be offended and write a complaint against you, the site / application may be closed until the inconsistencies are eliminated.
In practice, while the site / application is invisible and not popular, then no one will pay attention to what is there and how, and as soon as fame comes, the risk will increase (although by this moment I think the income from the site will be enough to buy what you need).
