Share who owns the information.

The fall Python conference that was promised last year didn't happen. There are no announcements for the spring conference on Ruby. Guys don't answer emails.

I do not want to believe that such a good undertaking is over.

Unfortunately, holding such conferences “eats up” a lot of resources, primarily human resources. At the moment, we do not have enough of these resources, so the project was “paused” - as soon as the opportunity arises, we will immediately resume it.
