What happened at Fedora?

In a Fedora 23 installation, in which dnf installed and updated everything perfectly for 6 (or more) months, today the message persists:

Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'rpmfusion-free'

The names of the buggy repos change, but the result is the same: crash.
What's going on with them?
