What grid do you use to layout wide sites?

The designer drew a layout with a width of 1900px, 1740px + 80px padding on the left and right, respectively.
What does the grid you use to lay out such sites look like?
How and at what points will the paddings change (it is obvious that 80px is too much for medium and small screen sizes) when the site width decreases from 1920px to 320px?
I have an idea to use bootstrap's .container-fluid and change paddings at certain points.
Tell me how do you do it?

Bootstrap .container { max-width: 1980px !important}
:D
Please don't take it seriously

I think this should help you. As you probably already guessed, using this link you can configure the grid parameters (and not only) and download a personal assembly.
PS There is a suspicion that pdding 'and at 80px is easier / more convenient / better to overlay "on top" of the bootstrap grid, i.e. add some of your styles (media), which will adjust the indentation at the resolutions you need. Or, to completely abandon the strap-grid and write everything on "pure media queries", which in general will give much more flexibility and fewer potential problems in the process.

I make paddings through percentages so that they do not distract me from the layout of the main blocks.
It is possible to segment paddings through additional classes (if necessary for pixel-perfect).
When using a media selector (at low resolutions) - I reassign them if necessary.
