What graphics library should I choose to create a paid Python application with a beautiful GUI?

Interested in Linux and Windows platforms. QT discarded, because. there is no way to pay that amount. Heard something about GTK+, but never figured out if this library is in the mood for making a nice looking GUI.

If your program dynamically links with Qt, then you can freely use the LGPL license for Qt and any other license for your software, including closed ones.
