What graphic editor to use for pixel art?

Good afternoon. A strange situation has arisen - I can't find a drawing software for a simple pixelart. On Windows I used paint.net, but on Linux (I use Ubuntu 15.04) everything is somehow dull with tim. I didn't like the pint, it was much worse. I use piskelapp.com
as an intermediate solution , but the "copy"/"paste" that doesn't work is killing me. Who advises where to look? -- upd1: figured out how to copy in pixel, it's not quite obvious)

What's the difference? Newb's typical mistake: "it's all about the program - now I'll download the editor and immediately start drawing like boh!" It's all in the hands, not in the editor.

I also didn’t use Paint.net for Windows, but when I switched to Ubu, I didn’t like its analogue Pinta.
I recently found Aseprite - a good editor, I draw, but I can't. Perfect for pixel sprites.
Interestingly, the editor itself is also pixelated in appearance)

I like GrafX2 the most. The program is open, with source codes and there are versions for any platform. But there are a couple of drawbacks: the program is sooooooooo old (originally from the Amiga), so the tools are without frills, working with layers and animation at a living wage and there is no support for Russian.
Despite this, it is very convenient to work with it, 2 colors are tied to both mouse buttons. I drew without problems with both the mouse and the digitizer.
It’s a pity I don’t write in C, she wouldn’t have grown the functionality and prices!

Jdraw is still there, quite simple and convenient
