What game engine would you recommend for a beginner for android?

Please advise a game engine for a novice developer. I haven't actually made games, I know the basics of C, C++ and a bit of C#. Primarily interested in the development of 2d games for android. I choose between Unity, Godot and Cocos2d-x.
The latter does not seem to be an engine, but for coconut there is CocosCreator and the creators themselves call it an engine. I know that a lot of cool games are made with it, but the main disadvantage is bad documentation. Unity has no particular disadvantages, but they write that godot is better suited for 2d. Godot is not as popular as unity, so there are fewer tutorials, but the games end up weighing less.
I don’t consider Love2d, Corona sdk, libgdx, because everything needs to be written through the code there.

I recommend that you write a small project (some kind of Tetris or Arkanoid) on each of the engines under consideration. I think that in the process of writing it will become clear to you which one is better for you.

I wonder why Godot is better than Unity for 2d.
You can't go wrong with Unity, I think. If you want more, then you can switch to 3d without any problems when you master the engine.
Perhaps you will find such a selection of engines on the YouTube channel useful ( specifically for C# ).
