Please tell me free online language courses. Maybe what you used. I will be very grateful.

So. Stepic is not for beginners.
For complete beginners, ITVDN course on torrents. Amazing course. It is better to read Schildt's "Java 8. Beginner's Guide" in parallel with it, and only then you can stepic.
I really liked the course of Peter Arseniev, also a torrent.
There is also a cool course, but it is for advanced OTUS, there are two of them on torrents.
I don't recommend JavaRush, but it's great for kids, and it's no longer free.
In any case, you need to solve the Zlatopolsky problem book "Collection of Programming Problems", fill your hand and read the book on Sedgwick's algorithms, and the book "Clean Code". Courses should be paid, so that they check the tasks, this is their essence.

stepic - there are excellent courses, the same Summer School (in the same place), if it’s completely from scratch.

Good afternoon! To get started, you can familiarize yourself with the general course CS50, which is an introductory course in computer science.
And then ... the java courses on udacity.com are quite good. They are there from the very beginning.
Stepic - the courses are good, but you need a good mathematical foundation.
