What fonts does ios safari understand?

Good day!
The other day I came across the fact that browsers on ios do not know Helvetica or Tahoma, the customer had a question why they say we have serifs, although we write a sans-serif font, these fonts were not connected
. So what fonts are available out of the box on ios, maybe who knows?

Tahoma is not on ios. Here is the iosfonts.com list of all fonts. And the names must be correct.

On fresh iOS devices, the font is San Francisco.
But it is appropriate, in my opinion, to simply write a fallback for a font, such as
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
