What font is suitable for small inscriptions?

I have always used Tahoma for this. It is readable even at 9pt.
But is there anything that is readable in a smaller version?

Verdana is very suitable for cheat sheets. Reduced to 5pt

Try Calibri , it was created mainly for small size.

Myriad Pro. The raster looks great in small format. Renders awful! The safari is bold and with ladders. In the rest, the devils are thin and hard to read.
