Smart House

What features would you like to see in a smart home if you had one, or if you have one?

It is the smart home and not home automation that is of interest to any ideas, even the most crazy ones. If you are already the proud owner of something smart that you like/dislike, what would you like to add?

I lived in a bunch of places and realized that 90% of the problems are solved by duplicating switches at the door and bed + a key to turn off the light at the exit.

Puma is right, everyone starts small, with lighting. People have just come to this. While duplicating the house instructed, there is a key in the hallway, one button turns on the kitchen, corridor, hallway and living room, the other cuts out all the light in the apartment. Then I want a couple of sensors and a camera, watch online. The air conditioner would have been turned on before arrival, but this is in the summer. The main thing is that it all works together and the software is there, so far only one system has been found by i-Tone, duplicating them and installed. In the apartment I don’t know yet, in the cottage I would like to bind the volume / movement sensor to the light, and so that the automatic shutdown timer can be set in the corridor and street areas.

A survey was conducted among Americans and it turned out that it is very difficult to fantasize. The easiest way is to focus either on existing solutions, or come up with obvious "upgrades": remote viewing of the contents of the refrigerator and tips with recipes based on existing products; lighting systems that react to the presence / absence of people in the room and are controlled remotely; irrigation systems that take into account the weather and are able to independently decide on the need for irrigation, etc.
