What features do you use in pug?

Hello. I'm learning pug and I'm having some confusion about choosing and using pug's features.
For example, when should you use mixins and when should you use blocks? Although it is possible to split files into regular includes without big problems.
And in general, what features do you use in pug, and which ones do you ignore?
