What equipment to choose for organizing a network in a large house?
There is a three-story house, which will be renovated. Each floor is 70m^2. You need to organize the network like this:
-Fast Wi-Fi + IPTV on each floor, about 20 clients in total -A
small server will be located on the last floor, which will be connected by wire; ports will be opened on it for remote access and the operation of several services
- the firewall will be configured to block IPs that are listed in the ABUSEIPDB list.
Only the media converter was received from the provider, to which the optics were connected. It is planned to do this:
- connect the router to the media converter
- run one cable from the router to each floor
- put one access point on each floor, the access point on the last floor must have at least one free LAN port (because one will be occupied by a wire from the router) so that you can connect the server
. What bundle of equipment would you recommend for organizing such a network?

Depends on how much you understand networks. I would recommend ubiquiti or mikrotik. In mikrotik, like routers, ubiquiti has better wifi.
Wi-fi in mikrotik works fine, there are some problems, but not to say that they are massive and critical, but its speed is not fire compared to ubiquiti.
Depending on the material of the walls and location at 70m, one access point may not be enough.
If you know where the TVs and stationary computers will be, it's better to have internet by wire there.
The points definitely advise something from Unifi ap, everything will be fine, unless of course they are in the center of the floors.
They have the good old ac line, the newer hd and the brand new line 6 you can't buy anywhere else.
My favorites are ac lr (long range, probably not needed at 70m) and nanohd.
Ac lite is also praised, it is cheaper.
They have a good router - a "dream machine", it has good wifi, like in nanohd, plus the router itself, plus a controller, it is needed to configure the points. If you don’t take the dream machine, you can run the controller on your server to set up the points, or buy a separate cloudkey, or run the controller on a PC, configure and run if you need to change the settings, or configure through the mobile application as a standalone device.
There is no point with an extra port, it's easier to put a switch, but if you want - ac pro or ac hd. You can also ac in-wall or hd in-wall, they have a lot of ports, but their antennas may not be enough for 70m.
