What equipment can take high-resolution photos continuously?
There is a task to take high-resolution photographs (> 20 megapixels) of a certain surface, every second. If you use a conventional SLR camera, there will be a problem with the fact that the shutter will die after a short time. If you use a video stream, none of the cameras I analyzed gives a higher recording (1920 × 1080), and this is extremely insufficient to cover with the required detail. In connection with this, questions arose.
1 - Do I understand correctly that the limitation on (1920 × 1080) pixels in photographic equipment that can shoot video is purely software (if it takes a photo of a higher resolution)? Is it possible to hack a camera to receive a video stream in the resolution I need? If so, please provide links to the manual.
2 - Are there any video cameras that can take photos (or broadcast a video stream) with the required resolution?
3 - Are there solutions for self-assembly similar to this one but with the required matrix for (> 20 Mp.) The system is supposed to be mounted rigidly, so no features of modern cameras are actually needed (such as autofocus), only a photo or video stream of the required resolution is needed.
Are there any other mechanisms to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance!
