What English to learn for freelancing? American or British?

It is too early to ask such questions now. At least learn some. And there already in 5-10 years, when you communicate freely on it, you can think about which dialect to polish.
My current clients include several Australians, an American, a couple of Canadians, and a British Jew. So think about which dialect is needed more

When you get to the point where you have to choose between specifically British English and American - you will know which to choose.
