Either your flash drive is broken or the usb port is gouged. I have never heard of usb storage drivers magically disappearing.
Good afternoon, if the laptop is running Windows, then check in "my computer-system" if there are usb ports, if there are, delete them, then reboot, go into the BIOS, check if the usb ports are blocked there. Wait for the download and everything is set by itself. Then the flash drive will become visible, if the flash drive is not visible again, then you can buy any other flash drive with the logo mygad.ru/flashki_s_logotipom
First, determine that the problem is in the driver.
1. Insert another flash drive into the same slot.
2. Insert the flash drive into another computer.
If the port does not respond to any flash drive, the problem is in it, do as vikafly advised.
If the port responds to other flash drives, and neither the computer sees the problematic flash drive, then it is dead, unfortunately.
I took mygad.ru flash drives in bulk - everything worked.
