What does "Non-Shared SFP Ports" mean in the HP 1910-8G-PoE+ switch description?

Link to the Russian-language site www8.hp.com/ua/ru/products/networking-switches/pro... !tab=features The
question is why such a port is needed, or rather if I plug an SFP model for my fiber into it, on the other I will put the same switch or another + media converter on the side of this optical fiber, will I be able to connect the two switches connected to this device to a single network?

In hp switches, I met common ports with sfp, that is, there is a port for 1000 megabits of a regular copper ethernet and its double in the form of an sfp port, you use either copper or sfp port.

Machine. coordination of half-/full-duplex operation modes of each port: increase in the throughput of each of the ports by 2 times

Ndaa. It seems that this is how they described the fact that this switch has auto-negotiation and operation in full-duplex mode. Marketers are marketers.
What are uplinks?

Apparently, this is what they call an uplink (a link that is connected to an upstream switch, to an aggregation node, for example)
:-) not necessary), and add several gigabit, only optical or combo ports that will be used to connect to the aggregation node ( for example , two combo ports and two purely optical ones).
The question is why such a port is needed, or rather, if I plug an SFP model for my fiber into it, on the other side of this fiber I put the same switch or another + media converter, will I be able to connect the two switches connected to this to a single network?

I agree with opium , it looks like they call it a combo port (for a switch, this is one port, but physically it is both an SFP port and a regular port for copper, which allows, depending on the conditions of use, to connect either optics or copper to it, when connected immediately and optics and copper will earn one thing). And these are all the features, otherwise it's just a port, so I don't think you should be afraid that you won't be able to connect devices through these ports :-)

The whole series has a cluster option:

Single IP management: enables management of up to 32 HP 1910 devices using a single Web interface; simplifies management of multiple devices

You can cluster several devices of this series into a cluster.
It is also possible to transfer data:
Fiber uplink: provides greater distance connectivity using Gigabit fiber uplinks

share port sfp - SFP port with RJ45 connector duplication, to work with copper it is enough to plug in a patch cord, when an sfp module is inserted, the copper is cut off. yes, the old one is called combo-port.
non share port sfp requires 1000t sfp module for copper operation.
