What does "message: types.Message" argument mean in aiogram?

My question is, what does the "message: types.Message" argument mean? I just can’t understand why it is needed, and functions don’t work without it, who knows, tell me what it is.

@nevantain

message
- the parameter to which the message from the decorator comes, in principle, any name can be given.
: types.Message
- type annotation , for code readability
I can't figure out why it's needed
and how to process then incoming messages if they do not come anywhere?
