Hello. Very often I see vacancies in the “welcome” section, knowledge of any scripting language, although in reality these languages ​​do not in any way relate to the work described in the vacancy. I personally checked two vacancies, no connection.
Why do recruiters write such paragraphs? What can knowledge of a scripting language give that will not be used?

I will never forget the salesperson who, instead of waiting for the reporting department to develop a beautiful report with frills, as many of his colleagues did, for whom grouping in a spreadsheet is an incredibly difficult task, he came, asked to upload a simple table to him, wrote in 2 hours on VB script, got exactly the report that he needed. The lazy ones waited for their turn for about a week. There were two reporters at that time and they simply did not have time to fulfill the Wishlist.
