What does 'DNS suffix' mean in ipconfig output?

Good afternoon,
Tell me what exactly does the DNS suffix mean when outputting ipconfig / all
As I understand it, it is set automatically and is not configured anywhere in the system?
As far as I understand, but I'm not 100% sure: This is the DNS server that delegates this zone, and that is, it can potentially (capable) listen to all my incoming and outgoing dns requests.

DNS suffix is a zone that is added to the requested names when resolving domains. It can be arbitrary. The suffix is needed, as a rule, in order not to enter the full computer name along with the domain (computer name.domain) on the local network, but to enter only the name itself (computer name).
If you have a suffix set, when requesting a domain name, it will resolve first the requested name, then, if it is not found, the name with the suffix.
Example.
wordpress.com suffix. You are trying to open _http://littlemaninmyhead/ . The OS will send a "littlemaninmyhead" resolve request to the DNS server. Having received a refusal, the OS sent a resolve request to "littlemaninmyhead.wordpress.com", received a response and opened the site.
The same behavior will be with any requested domain, except for the full spelling of the domain (ending with a dot, for example, "google.com . ").
If you try to open some non-existent domain, for example, sorijgssegfwr9gw0v.com, the OS will first resolve sorijgssegfwr9gw0v.com, then sorijgssegfwr9gw0v.com.wordpress.com.
