What does an information security specialist need to know/be able to do?
Hello. Recently, I have become interested in information security, more specifically, in the technical protection of information. So the question itself is what does a specialist in technical information protection need to know / be able to do?
Also interested in: literature on VBI, courses, forums, etc.

In institutes on information security they give a course on TSMZI (means and methods), TCO (means of protection) and the like
. I have not seen courses, literature is easily googled. In short, you need to know about ACS, video surveillance, perimeter protection (active, passive), PEMIN, security systems, biometrics, certification from regulators, special checks .
As a result, as in any infobase, it comes down to building a threat model and setting measures to protect against them.
Read on the keywords in bold, as well as about the specifics of certification of the AU and premises.
