What do you use to block ads?

I use ad block. Eats stably 104 052K. I googled some tests where AdGuard wins in terms of performance, it's not clear how it was tested. I also came across this thing: https://github.com/LazerUnicorns/adblock-proxy. Will there be a performance gain? Still, both there and there V8 (yes, I have Chromium). Maybe there is something else like that?

I'm using a proxy like the adblock-proxy you mentioned.
does not load and as a bonus blocking in all browsers at once (I have a whole zoo of them at work).

Look at uBlock, there seems to be a lame. And for some reason, ABP works fine for me on the fox, and this is only 4 GB of RAM.

On the computer: the hosts file has already swelled up to 2 MB, Chrome's settings for blocking pop-up windows, AdBlock (which is without a plus), AdBlock for YouTube, Gif Jam (stops animation of gifs), flash is disabled. I'm going to put another plugin for selective blocking of scripts.
On Android devices: adaway, hosts file, Chrome settings, as well as application modifiers for manually blocking advertising activations and other destructive processes: My Android Tools, PerAppHacking, Autostarts, AppSettings. For vkontakte - naturally Kate pro.
