What do you think is more effective in user rating: 5 stars (eBay) or likes/dislikes?

There will be a rating system for assessing a freelancer based on the results of his work, which method will be easier for the user (who will evaluate the work and who does not care about this assessment) and more effective (so that others can get an objective opinion). How do you imagine the best combination of objectivity and simplicity?

Objectivity requires a more complex assessment of the structure. One freelancer is good at cryptography, another is good at web services. Rarely is both equally good. A more comprehensive rating system needs to be developed. We evaluate project participants according to several parameters that are important to us, with rating options for each parameter "did not interact with this participant / 80/90/100/110/120" Score 80 - the employee does not have sufficient competence. 120 - Expert level with extensive practical experience.
