What do you think about links from profiles to forums?

Is there any sense at all now from forum links from profiles? I have just collected a database of trust thematic forums for the site, start registering accounts for them, putting down links from profiles. But I was wondering if it would have any effect at all? Do forums work? Or, nevertheless, links can only come from the signatures and the messages themselves? (which of course is always cleaned on high-quality forums)

Forums are good as a variety of link mass, and not as its main driver. It works well as a dilution of the anchor list with non-anchor links (because it is extremely difficult to set the anchor on the forms). It is worth paying attention to indexing, most often it is the crowd that has to be forced into the index. Well, the presence of a link is not through a redirect pad, i.e. the link must be direct in the code, in the saved copy of the search engines it must be displayed in the text version exactly as a link.
