What do you think about buying links from irrelevant countries?
For a long time, links from various Ukrainian sites were purchased for the Ukrainian site. At first, strictly from thematic, when high-quality thematic sites ended, they began to buy links from near-thematic sites. At the moment, links at normal prices from Ukraine have ended, and we have begun to buy links from all CIS countries, on sites that are suitable for the topic. Do you think Google will take them well? It seems to me that Google doesn’t care whether these are Ukrainian or Russian links, it seems to me that it perceives this as one region :)

It depends how you look at it)
If you need a reference mass, then there is no difference where the link comes from, even from the USA. Google will look at the language of the system. If you need conversions then other countries are not a good option unless you are working for multiple countries.
I am currently working on a project that has sites for different regions, and often links from Asia are placed on the Ru region, and nothing, everything is fine.
