What do you need to study to become an AR programmer?

Good day.
The question is this:

What do you need to study to become an AR programmer?

- programming language;
- literature;
- forums;
- blogs, etc.

Input data:
- 25 years;
- no experience in programming;
- knowledge at the level of the layman;

Available:

- Desire;
- Time;
- Facilities;
- The desire to do something really useful for people;

Required:

- knowledge and skills for writing programs or applications (I don't really understand terminology);

+

Perhaps the question is stupid, while:

1) How much time is needed to master this?

2) Is it too late for the IT industry to start?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Start by learning programming for mobile operating systems.
The time depends on how well you think, the main thing is that it would be interesting, otherwise nothing will work out.
It's never too late.

@GregMD

there are different mobile reality browsers, I read the docks, 2-3 months, then I went through a training educational program and made my first demo application: I put markers on the walls of the apartment and made a semblance of AR navigation around my home. Everything from 0, it took 4-5 months, the last time I programmed about 5 years ago.
