What do you need to know when installing software under free and proprietary licenses to other people?
I welcome everyone! Please tell me, such a question arose, in general, let's say one of my friends or strangers asks me to help with a computer in something, on a paid or free basis, although I'm not going to do this seriously, but let's say they suddenly ask for help, say install Windows or something else any software,
it is clear that to install Windows, or some other proprietary software, and activate them with a pirated activator, this will already be a violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation with all the consequences, but let's say I put proprietary software on a person but without any activation, showed him where in the contacts of the program there is a connection with the developer and his contacts - please contact the developer, buy the program, will this be considered any violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation? And the same case if you also installed software without activation but obviously modified by someone before me, i.e. any assembly of Windows downloaded from an unofficial resource, which clearly shows that this is Windows not downloaded from the Microsoft website, but also without activation.
Well, the second - let's say I also installed free software on someone's request under any of the free GNU GPL 1/2/3 licenses, etc. What do I need to know in this case about the possible consequences?

Set up trials. It's not punishable. Use iso or web installers to install.
As for open source software, there are no special comments, just poke into the license.
A separate issue unscrupulous comrades. Let's say you come and set everything normal, but there was a zoo before you. The director may well nod at you, the police will interview the employees and everyone will confirm they say that such a comrade put something on computers.
But in general, this is how lucky
