At work, there is now such a situation (I have been working as a tester for 3 months) that there are no tasks, and time needs to be written off somewhere to get 8 hours a day. There are additional hours "for ourselves" that we get for a month for some activities that are not directly related to tasks, for example, phone calls, various work communications, etc. But lately, there are more and more cases when there are no tasks, and as a result, even having written off time for yourself, there is still nowhere to write off the rest of the time in order to finish 40 hours a week.
