What do you back up and why?
Hello!
Comrades, share your experience, who is backing up file data on Windows Servers and why?
From the wishlist:
- It is desirable to use the Russian interface language, so that even those who have not studied English can work.
- Naturally: full, differential and incremental.
- The simplicity of the interface and its friendliness is welcome.
- Must be able to backup to a network share or to a mapped network drive.
Share your experience, if you know the disadvantages of a particular product and you have a little time to write, then I beg you.

Veeam Endpoint Backup is installed on the servers for a full system backup.
For 1C backup, EffectorSaver is used. He can copy to local drives and network balls with passwords. You can set retention periods.
About half of my clients have had Cobian Backup for many years. One of them has been working continuously for more than 10 years. True, this program is intended mainly for user machines.
The rest have standard "Windows Server Backup" tools or balls on Synology
For the home, for the family or what? In an enterprise, the requirements are usually radically different.
I use Nakivo Backup & Replication, the file washer is backed up by Acronis.
When it was still actual to me in office Symantec BackupExec.
Among other things, it can backup virtual machines, MS SQL and much more, supports tape media. In general, the product is good, but not free, and many goodies come for some money.
Veeam as mentioned above is a good option.
I also use Urbackup, it is easy to set up, there is a web muzzle.
