I plan to develop towards Java. Therefore, I would like to know first what Java programmers do, in what industries they mainly work, what types of tasks they solve. Not everyone writes corporate servers and applications on Android.

There are also those who are trying to write web interfaces in Java using all sorts of JSPs.
About projects:
I am an amateur developer and I am writing 2 projects:
1) Web-hook for interacting with corporate jira
2) Web service for working with Hetner API.
In both I use Spring MVC (instead of any Java EE technologies.

Now the topic is still developing in Java to write applications for robots on ResburyPay. But in general, you can write anything in Java for any platform. However, as in any other language, there will only be more troubles with translating the code to other environments.
